Orders 16 New Hybrid Konecranes RTGs and Retrofits Eight Existing Units
Port Houston is adding to its large Konecranes RTG fleet with an order for 16 hybrid Konecranes RTGs. The deal was booked in Q1 2025 and delivery is scheduled for H1 2026. In addition, Konecranes Port Services will retrofit eight existing Konecranes RTGs currently operating at the port. The retrofits will be completed by Q4 2025.
First order from Saguenay Port Authority brings electric-driven Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane to Canada
The Saguenay Port Authority in Quebec has ordered a Konecranes Gottwald ESP.6B Mobile Harbor Crane for a new cargo handling system currently under development. The order was booked in Q1 2025, with handover scheduled for Q3 2025.
with CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal Order for Seven Hybrid RTGs
Building on strong sales momentum with Spanish port operators, Konecranes has secured a new order with CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal S.A.U. for seven Konecranes hybrid Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes. The order was booked in February 2025, with delivery to the Port of Valencia scheduled for March 2026.
Records a 3% increase in container handling via Santa Clara Container Terminal in 2024
With more than 52,000 TEUs handled at the terminal in Rio Grande do Sul, the goods that most contributed to the increase were chemicals, resins, frozen chicken, and wood.
