Norwegian logistics provider Tyrholm & Farstad AS has ordered a Generation 6 Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane for their new Flatholmen terminal in Ålesund, with the electric crane to expand capacity and reduce carbon emissions. The order was booked in Q3 2023, and delivery will take place in Q2 2024.
The vessel, which is more sustainable as well as being built to attend new Panamax 366m LOA vessels on the Port Of Santos, increases safety for the arrival of new-generation large-sized container vessels to Brazil, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions with an innovative hull design. The company will build and deliver two more tugboats in 2024.
