For SPRINT’s Chief Operating Officer, Hossam A. Elmoneim, quality and efficiency are the foundation of success. Since its launch in 2004, SPRINT has remained committed to delivering reliable products and services. This dedication has quickly positioned the company as a trusted provider of engineered solutions for a wide range of clients in the oil and gas sector.

“Our clients trust us to deliver reliable results through skilled personnel, and fit-for-purpose equipment & technologies. SPRINT’s ability to integrate cutting-edge technology, in-house manufacturing, and a deep understanding of field challenges makes for cost-effective and customized well solutions,” Hossam states. “For SPRINT customers, one of the most important factors is the quality of our services and the well-engineered solutions that meet each client’s unique requirements.”

As Hossam points out, SPRINT’s ability to provide its clients with engineered tailored solutions in the field of well cementing, well stimulation and well intervention services has been equally crucial to its success. This client-driven approach has served as the “principal catalyst” for SPRINT’s rapid growth.

“Our goal has always been to remain adaptable yet consistent so we can perform at our best in every market,” Hossam says. “We serve clients across diverse environments -from mountains to deserts, and extreme heat to freezing temperatures – so we tailor our technologies, equipment, and procedures accordingly.”

In-house manufacturing has been a cornerstone of SPRINT’s success, providing autonomy and enabling sustained growth during periods of high demand. Additionally, SPRINT’s agility in meeting diverse customer needs stems from its strong research capabilities and expertise in designing tailored solutions and fluids. This specialized knowledge is housed in its research laboratory in the United Arab Emirates. Alongside its main research lab, the organisation boasts satellite research centres in Pakistan, Iraq, and soon in Saudi Arabia.

The emphasis on research and development has helped SPRINT to introduce a diverse range of innovative technologies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing its carbon footprint. Among these advancements are SPRINT UltraREAxH (a reservoir stimulation solution capable of cutting fluid consumption by up to 30% while enhancing well productivity) and SPRINT LitePLAST (a lost circulation solution that significantly reduces lost circulation downtime, ensuring faster and more efficient well stabilization).

On the equipment side, SPRINT has introduced its CPF-2600 (a cementing pumping unit that integrates pumping and mixing capabilities while reducing mobilization trips and time), and the SPF-2600 (a stimulation pumping unit that combines pumping and mixing functions).

Efficiency in the oil and gas industry, and the positive impact this has on the environment, has not only become a key topic for SPRINT’s clients in recent years, but also for the company itself. In 2023, SPRINT launched an initiative to reduce its carbon footprint. All company bases – from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan – will be converted to operate on green energy by 2028. This helps SPRINT align with global ESG investment trends and reinforcing its role as a forward-thinking partner.

“Green initiatives have significantly reduced our carbon footprint at our operating bases and in the field,” Hossam explains. “Technologies like SPRINT UltraREAxH and LitePLAST, along with the introduction of CPF-2600 and SPF-2600 pumping units, have helped minimize emissions in our daily operations. Sustainability is crucial to our business as we strive for healthy, long-term growth.”

Growth is at the core of SPRINT’s journey and new opportunities for expansion are always emerging. Supported by the implementation of management systems and standardization practices, SPRINT’s manufacturing capabilities have been instrumental in helping the firm capture maximum market share during these periods of rapid growth. Notably, SPRINT’s digital transformation – including an ERP system (2019-2022) and paperless initiative (2015) – improved the organisation’s consistency and decision-making by enabling multiple locations to access up-to-date technical and operational information. Similarly, a centralized Quality and HSE system, first introduced in 2010, significantly improved the regulation and monitoring of quality and safety at SPRINT.

“Our growth has always been well-organised,” Hossam declares, “especially in terms of the flow of information from headquarters to our operating locations and back again. It’s important to us that the support we give to a client is pretty much the same wherever they operate. By developing and improving our QHSE and ERP platforms over the last 15 years, we can be confident that this is now the case.”

In 2025, all elements of SPRINT’s organisation work in unison to help the company thrive. Led by a clear vision and supported by its proven willingness to adapt and overcome, the company is united in its quest for harmonious growth. Crucially, this concept is not exclusive to SPRINT’s field of operation but also plays a role in the way the firm manages its personnel.

“We believe in fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement,” Hossam reveals. “Internally, we value and respect each employee’s unique work style, which is reflected in our online SPRINT Training and E-learning Program (STEP). STEP gives team members instant access to knowledge, helping them build skills and advance at their own pace.”

SPRINT currently allocates 1-1.5% of its annual income to training and development with a special focus on technical, operational and soft skill training. The company believes that talented employees should be given the opportunity to progress, and its team boasts an average age of just 34.

“Many of our employees come straight to SPRINT from university and we have managers who have been with us for just five years,” Hossam says. “We give our young team responsibilities, and we empower them. We have found that this makes for a more dynamic organisation.”

It is SPRINT’s dynamic young workforce that will now lead the organisation into the future. With more collaborative, harmonious growth on the horizon, Hossam is confident that the foundations have been laid for an exciting and lucrative decade ahead – not only for SPRINT and its clients, but also for the communities they serve.

“We are looking at expansion on two fronts,” Hossam affirms, “marketwise and geographically. We have decent coverage across the Middle East, so within the next two years we are looking to break into Central and Western Africa. On the solutions side, we have not stopped adding services and technologies over the last 20 years, and we will continue to do that in the future.

“It is vitally important for us to be socially integrated with the markets we operate in,” Hossam adds. “We are currently leading in many locations, particularly in academic research related to our new products, technologies, and applications. We’ve contributed to over 50 research papers, all of which were completed in collaboration with our clients or with local universities, and we hope to have a similar positive, far-reaching impact on all communities we engage with in the future.”
