On joining InstaVolt, Jo said: “I am delighted to have joined the team at such a pivotal time for EVs and charging. Without doubt we’re at the tipping point of EVs becoming the norm and I want to make sure that InstaVolt is the first name consumers think about when it comes to charging their cars on the go.”
With almost 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, Mark Sherrard joins InstaVolt following a two-year spell as Commercial Director at the net zero provider eEnergy where he created a sales message and process that generated an 87% increase in revenue and grew the pipeline from £98m to £227m.

He said: “InstaVolt has the best reputation in its field and it’s incredibly exciting to join at this stage when there is so much momentum.
“I’ve spent much of my career in supporting sustainable energy endeavours, as well as being a car nut. This is the perfect fit.”
InstaVolt’s CCO Simon Smith, said: “We’re delighted to welcome on board Jo and Mark as we enter a new phase of growth. Their track records and experience speak for themselves and will add breadth and depth to the senior leadership team.”
InstaVolt now has 120 full time employees and is gearing up to deliver on its commitment to install 11,000 ultra rapid chargers in the UK and Ireland.
Together with installing 5,000 chargers across Spain and Portugal and more than 300 in Iceland, InstaVolt’s aim is to be the benchmark for reliable, contactless EV charging across the world.
